Hemsby with Winterton Cottages

Hemsby is a lively village resort with shops, amusements, attractions and cafes. The sandy beach backed by grassy sand dunes make this a popular choice with visitors.

From Hemsby you can walk north through the dunes to the quieter Winterton-on-Sea, or it’s a 10 minute drive to the traditional seaside resort of Great Yarmouth where you’ll find end of pier entertainment, amusements, restaurants, cinemas, Sea Life Centre and Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach.

Hemsby is also home to the independent Inshore Rescue Lifeboat which covers the Norfolk Broads and nearby beaches. It also organises fantastic events such as the annual Herring Festival held in August and the Viking festival in June.
