Description

Recently renovated, Seaview is on a quiet residential road overlooking Winterton Valley with direct access to the dunes below via a private gate at the end of the garden. With amazing sea views, this property is the perfect holiday home on the coast.

The front porch leads into a modern well equipped kitchen, with electric oven, hob, integrated fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. There's also a washing machine and separate drier. The open plan living and dining area makes the most of the fabulous sea views with double doors opening up to the enclosed back garden. The smart TV comes loaded with Netflix. Seaview has central heating throughout

There are two beautifully decorated and comfortable bedrooms: the main bedroom has a standard size double bed and sea views, and the second bedroom has twin single beds. There's a modern shower room with a walk in shower, washbasin and WC.

The property is dog friendly with hard flooring, dog throws, bowls and an outside dog shower. The garden is enclosed and there are miles of great walks on the doorstep. It's a 5-10 minute walk into Hemsby where there are shops, cafes and restaurants as well as amusements. Or if you fancy something quieter it's a 15-20 minute walk to Winterton-on-Sea.

Outside there's a large decking area to the side of the cottage which makes the most of the evening sun. The back garden is fully enclosed with a low hedge (with stock wire fencing in) at the back to make the most of the sea views. There is off road parking for one car. Four dogs are welcome at Seaview, but depending on size more may be possible - please ask us for more details. Dogs are welcome throughout the living areas and may join you on the sofas if using the throws provided.

Location

Seaview is tucked away on a quiet lane in the Long Beach area of Hemsby. It's a 5-10 minute walk to the dunes and long sandy beaches, or a 10 minute walk to the village of Hemsby where there are traditional amusements, entertainment, shops, restaurants, cafés and takeaways. You can also walk to Winterton-on-Sea through the dunes where you'll find the Fishermans Return pub, Poppy's Tea Room and Seal View cafe at the beach.

Great Yarmouth is just 6 miles away, with two piers offering a choice of live shows and music as well as ten pin bowling. Along the seafront you'll find everything this traditional seaside resort has to offer including amusements, Joyland funfair for children, Greay Yarmouth Pleasure Beach, Pirates Cove crazy golf, the Sea Life Centre, the Marina leisure centre with wave pool and a long wide sandy beach.

From late autumn until the end of January you'll be able to see the grey seal colony and their pups at nearby Horsey which is only a 15 minute drive away. You can park at the Dunes Cafe in Waxham or at the Nelson Head in Horsey - we recommend both even if you're not seal watching.

The Norfolk Broads are nearby, and there's a huge choice of boat trips or private day boat hire. Or for the more adventurous there's kayaking, canoeing or stand up paddle boarding. There are miles of inland waterways to explore, with plentiful wildlife and bird life to be found nearby.

Norwich is a 40 minute drive away, and offers shopping, museums, restaurants and a choice of theatres.
