Happisburgh with Winterton Cottages
Perched on the North Norfolk Coast, Happisburgh is famous for it’s iconic red and white striped lighthouse.
This pretty seaside village boasts a long sandy beach, backed by dramatic cliffs. For walkers there are miles of coastal paths and footpaths in the surrounding area.
The lighthouse at Happisburgh is the oldest working light in East Anglia, and the only independently run lighthouse in Great Britain. It’s open to the public on select days throughout the year and offers amazing views from the top.
Happisburgh has a village shop, pub and excellent fresh fish shop. Nearby, the famous East Ruston Vicarage Gardens are definitely worth a visit, and Smallsticks Cafe at Cart Gap is the ideal stop after a beach walk.
