Description

Tucked away down a quiet road in the Long Beach area of Hemsby, Marram Sands is a spacious detached bungalow. Access to the dunes leading to a quiet area of the beach is just two minutes walk away. Or head 5-10 minutes in the other direction you'll reach the main Hemsby Beach with shops, cafes, amusements, and everything you could need for a traditional seaside holiday.

A key feature of this lovely property is the sunny patio and garden, with glimpses of the sea. Inside, there's a large open plan living room with a comfortable sofa, smart TV with freeview, and a cosy woodburner which can be used in the winter months. The dining table seats six and can also be turned into a mini pool table. Also available for guests to use is a Jukebox!

The kitchen leads off the dining area, and has a double electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer. A door leads from the kitchen into the back garden. Or you can go through the study which has a desk and printer, into the conservatory which also leads to the garden. Outside you'll find plenty of garden furniture including a table and chairs.

The main bedroom has a superking bed, and an ensuite with walk in shower, washbasin and WC. Bedroom two has twin 3' single beds, and bedroom three has twin 2' 6" single beds which are more suitable for children. The main bathroom has a bath, large walk in shower, washbasin and WC. There's also a separate WC just off the entrance hall.

The garden is enclosed and very private, and there are miles of great walks on the doorstep. Winterton-on-Sea is a 15-20 minute walk away, or why not explore the Norfolk Broads which are within easy driving distance. There is off road parking for 2-3 cars. 1-2 dogs are welcome to stay free of charge.

Location

Marram Sands is tucked away on a quiet lane in the Long Beach area of Hemsby. It's a 5-10 minute walk to the dunes and long sandy beaches, or a 10 minute walk to the village of Hemsby where there are traditional amusements, entertainment, shops, restaurants, cafés and takeaways. You can also walk to Winterton-on-Sea through the dunes where you'll find the Fishermans Return pub, Poppy's Tea Room and Seal View cafe at the beach.

Great Yarmouth is just 6 miles away, with two piers offering a choice of live shows and music as well as ten pin bowling. Along the seafront you'll find everything this traditional seaside resort has to offer including amusements, Joyland funfair for children, Greay Yarmouth Pleasure Beach, Pirates Cove crazy golf, the Sea Life Centre, the Marina leisure centre with wave pool and a long wide sandy beach.

From late autumn until the end of January you'll be able to see the grey seal colony and their pups at nearby Horsey which is only a 15 minute drive away. You can park at the Dunes Cafe in Waxham or at the Nelson Head in Horsey - we recommend both even if you're not seal watching.

The Norfolk Broads are nearby, and there's a huge choice of boat trips or private day boat hire. Or for the more adventurous there's kayaking, canoeing or stand up paddle boarding. There are miles of inland waterways to explore, with plentiful wildlife and bird life to be found nearby.

Norwich is a 40 minute drive away, and offers shopping, museums, restaurants and a choice of theatres.
