You will find that the easiest way to book is online. Find your perfect property, tell us who will be staying and when, and click book now. This will take you through the different stages, including making payment securely online.
30% of the booking price is required at the time of placing the booking. The remaining balance is due eight weeks prior to your stay. If you make a booking within eight weeks of arrival, the full amount will need to be paid when booking.
The majority of our properties are dog friendly. Please check each listing to see the number of dogs welcome as this can vary per property.
No, there is no charge to bring your dogs on holiday with Winterton Cottages.
Dogs are very welcome at the majority of our properties. We do however ask that they do not join you on the beds or furniture. Further information for each property can be found in our extensive welcome information which guests receive eight weeks before their stay.

Yes, all of the bedrooms at your property will be made up with one bath and one hand towel per guest.
You can check the list of amenities for your cottage on the website to see what’s available.
All utilities (electricity, heating etc) are included in the booking price. We also supply a few essentials to get you started on arrival which include an initial supply of toilet rolls, hand soap, washing up liquid, tea towels, dishwasher tablets and bin bags. Further supplies can be purchased locally.
Unfortunately we’re unable to offer an earlier check in due to cleaning schedules.
Yes, there is free wifi at all of our properties except for Mardle where there is good mobile network coverage.
Properties with a woodburner will supply a starter pack including kindling, logs, firelighters and matches to get you started for bookings taking place from Oct – Mar. Further supplies can be purchased locally.
