Description

Trinity Barn is a modern barn conversion, with a traditional feel in the pretty Broadland village of Fleggburgh. Downstairs you'll find a well equipped kitchen with cooker, hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. The back door from the kitchen leads to an enclosed garden with an outdoor dining table & chairs.

The barn is centrally heated throughout, but there's also an electric fire in the open plan dining area and a TV there too. From there you walk through into the living room, with two comfortable sofas and a smart TV. At the back of the barn you'll find a ground floor bedroom with kingsize bed and a bathroom with a walk in shower, washbasin and WC.

The stairs lead off the dining area straight into the second bedroom which has two 3' single beds, and it's own ensuite bathroom with a bath with a shower attachment, washbasin and WC. Please note there is a low ceiling in the upstairs bedroom.

Outside there's an enclosed garden to the rear/side of the barn, and off road parking at the front for two cars. Two dogs are welcome at Trinity Barn free of charge.

The award winning Kings Arms pub is just 2 minutes walk from the barn, and there are beautiful countryside walks and public footpaths nearby. It's a 10-15 minute drive to the nearest beaches at Hemsby, Scratby and Winterton.

Features

Location

Trinity Barn is situated in the beautiful Norfolk village of Fleggburgh. Fleggburgh lies between Filby Broad and Lily Broad in glorious Norfolk countryside.

There is a small supermarket/post office in the neighbouring village of Filby. An amazing dog friendly pub/restaurant – The Kings Arms, just the other side of the church (2 minute walk) and a lovely farm shop and café (Hirsts Farm Shop) in neighbouring village of Ormesby which is a 10 minute drive from here.

There’s an excellent choice of walks right from the doorstep in and around the villages, edging round broads and taking in lovely countryside. From the end of November to the beginning of January it’s pupping season for the local grey seal colony, with literally thousands of them on Horsey beach just 10 mins drive from Fleggburgh. It’s an amazing sight to see.

St. Mary’s Church in Fleggburgh is one of only 53 thatched churches in Norfolk and dates back to the Norman period.

For cyclists there’s a great choice of routes and trails to enjoy. A little further afield the Norfolk Broads offers scenic boat trips or hire your own boat for the day. There’s also fishing, kayaking, canoeing and paddleboarding available.

For families, the seaside town of Gt Yarmouth is only a 15 minute drive away, with a sandy beach, end of pier entertainment, Sea Life centre, amusement arcades, pleasure beach, bowling, cinemas, Venetian Waterways, crazy golf and much more. We also recommend the award winning BeWILDerwood an outdoor tree house adventure park with zip wires, jungle bridges, marsh walks and boat rides - just a 20 minute drive away near Horning. Wroxham Barns is nearby with independent shops, craft studios, a kids' farm, funfair and restaurant.

The fine city of Norwich is a 40 minute drive away, and offers shopping, museums, restaurants and a choice of theatres.

There’s a great choice of places to eat out locally including beachside cafes, local pubs and fine dining restaurants and we provide all guests with a comprehensive list in our digital welcome information.

A beautiful, spacious accommodation. Everything you could possibly need was provided. Immaculately clean. Great location, very peaceful and a good spot for getting out to beaches, such as Winterton, which is relatively close and easy to get to. We had a very relaxing break and hope to visit again. Highly recommend.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the cottage which is a modern well equipped one with all modern amenities and a good enclosed garden. It is close to all the beaches and the host has kindly provided for board games etc. The host also were very kind to help with some last minute necessities and issues. We also had very good sunny weather which helped us make the most of our holiday. Once again thank you to the wonderful hosts.

We had such a lovely stay at this beautifully converted barn in a quiet little village. It was extremely well equipped, spotlessly clean in lovely surroundings. The Kings Arms pub at the end of the road had great food and such lovely staff. Loved close by Norwich and an added bonus was to get to see the seals and their pups at Winterton, absolutely amazing! All in all a great break to brighten up January. Would definitely recommend.

This was a fabulous place to stay, every home comfort you could want and more. Didn’t get to sit out in the garden but may well come back in Summer to try that out! Kings Arms at the end of the road serving excellent food, dogs welcome. A very peaceful location and loved watching the bunnies play in the field down the lane from the lounge window. Just what I needed.
