Description

Tremeer is a modern two bedroom detached bungalow welcoming four dogs. The left hand side of the property consists of the main bedroom at the front with a king size double bed. Behind this is bedroom two overlooking the back garden with twin 3’ single beds which can be linked together to make a super king double. A modern bathroom includes a walk in shower, washbasin and WC.

On the right hand side of the property there's a large open plan living room with TV, dining area and modern kitchen. The well equipped kitchen includes an oven, hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.

Outside there is a large fully enclosed garden with views of Winterton Lighthouse. At the front there's off road parking for 2-3 cars and behind the house you'll find warm and cold outside taps to wash muddy paws and boots.

Location

Tremeer is located on the outskirts of Winterton-on-Sea, a pretty unspoilt village perched on the Norfolk Coast. It only takes 5-10 min to walk to long sandy beaches which are dog friendly all year round.

The local Fisherman’s Return pub (dog friendly) serves good food, and is a 5 minute walk from Tremeer. Also in the village within walking distance you’ll find the village shop, Poppy’s post office and tea rooms (we can recommend the breakfasts), a fish & chip shop and Seal View café at the beach.

There’s an excellent choice of walks right from the doorstep, and Winterton Dunes is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). From the end of November to the beginning of January it’s pupping season for the local grey seal colony, with literally thousands of them on Horsey beach just 10 mins drive from Winterton. It’s an amazing sight to see.

For cyclists there’s a great choice of routes and trails to enjoy. A little further afield the Norfolk Broads offers scenic boat trips or hire your own boat for the day. There’s also fishing, kayaking, canoeing and paddleboarding available.

For families, the seaside town of Gt Yarmouth is only a 15 minute drive away, with a sandy beach, end of pier entertainment, Sea Life centre, amusement arcades, pleasure beach, bowling, cinemas, Venetian Waterways, crazy golf and much more. We also recommend the award winning BeWILDerwood an outdoor tree house adventure park with zip wires, jungle bridges, marsh walks and boat rides - just a 20 minute drive away near Horning. Wroxham Barns is nearby with independent shops, craft studios, a kids' farm, funfair and restaurant.

The fine city of Norwich is a 40 minute drive away, and offers shopping, museums, restaurants and a choice of theatres.

Exceptionally clean and spacious bungalow with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Lovely touch of a welcome hamper was much appreciated and even treats for our dog Daniel.

Wonderfull bungalow on the outskirts of the village, it has everything you will need or want for a relaxing break. The garden was a real treat for our dog as well with lots of space to run around. The village has a great fish and chip shop, tea room and pub, but the best bit for us has to be the walks along the dunes and beach. Then return to the comfort of the bungalow. The welcome pack for the 2 legged and 4 legged guests is also a very nice touch. Would I recommend Tremeer ? 100% as long as it's not when I want to go back again next year.

Great location, spotlessly clean, so quiet, lovely hosts, fabulous garden for the 4 dogs. 10 minute walk to the Dunes which were really good even after the 3 days of rain 😆.

Well laid out lovely modern interior, comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. Perfect garden for our 6 months old Labrador who loved zooming around at high speed ! We fortunately won the weather lottery during the last week of June with clear blue skies which made the many easy distance walks to the beach cafe and local pub a pleasure along with being able to soak up the sun in the large garden. It was our first visit to Winterton on Sea which is totally unspoiled and very quaint and looking forward to future visits.

A wonderful week at Tremeer. Clean & well equipped. Bed was super comfortable. A must is the fish & chips in Winterton (don’t forget the home made tartare).

Just back from a great stay at Tremeer which was just as described. Loved the easy access to the beach and a great sized garden for the dog to run around in. Outdoor dog washing facilities with hot water was a great touch and meant there is no need to trail sand indoors when coming back from a walk. Winterton beach is stunning and will definitely rebook if in the area again.

First time at Tremeer and won't be the last. We have had one of the most relaxing weeks in years. We have loved staying here, its been perfect for our 4 Rottweiler's, the garden is very secure and safe. Yanna our pup spent hrs chasing 🍃 🍃 🍃 and watching birds. Amanda and Stan were great, came straight round to fix something, nothing was too much trouble. The property was immaculate, easy to keep clean even with 4 dogs. Love that we could take them in and out through the drive gates, easy to wash them down outside with the warm shower. The walk down to the beach/dunes took 10 mins, the Dunes was our favourite, you can walk for miles and miles, the pups loved it. Thanks again. Hope to see you soon.

Had a fabulous stay at Tremeer. Beautiful property with a lovely big garden for the dogs to run around in! Great Central location with the local pub (very good!) and Poppy's Tea room (also very good!) within easy walking distance. Loved the log burner and extremely comfortable beds. Real home from home feel.
