A beautiful thatched cottage in a prime location, opposite the dog friendly village pub, that has been extended to provide a lovely restaurant, without losing the old part of the pub, all being dog friendly. The fish and chip shop, post office, cafe and convenience store are around the corner. ( Check fish and chip shop opening hours). The dunes and beach are in walking distance, but a car park is also available at the Dunes cafe area, these cafes provide a good assortment of menus and drinks. The cottage is very clean and provides anything you would need. It is obviously the owners pride and joy. The beds and pillows are extremely comfortable, the bathrooms are well equipped, the showers are lovely and so is the kitchen, we were actually on the internet looking for some of the equipment. The decor is very eclectic, which is vastly different from my straight line, minimalistic home. The garden is small and paved, but very private with lots of greenery. The downstairs bedroom is probably fit for a child as no space for a wardrobe, although my mother was quite happy in there. Dogs are requested to stay downstairs, probably removing some furniture would help to enable more room for dog beds.
Overall - A lovely and well loved cottage, good communication from the owners. The house information book is fascinating and well worth a read. The cottage is very comfortable and provides everything you could think of. There is space for 2 cars in front of the cottage. We had an amazing time as a family ranging from 13- 82. ( 5 adults one teen ) and would highly recommend a stay here.

A comfortable well appointed cottage within easy walking distance of the beach. The specification throughout was very good although we did have major problems with the tv. I was able to have several direct e-mails with the owner and although this wasn't resolved during our stay it didn't spoil our holiday. We would certainly return which is always the 'acid test' of satisfaction.

We had a lovely stay at Sea Holly Cottage. Loved the location and the amenities all within walking distance. The pub opposite is friendly with good pub food. Local shop has everything you need. The village had the added bonus of a fish and chip shop and lovely little tearoom. We took our dog who loved it! Only a 5 minute walk to the beach and sand dunes so great for long dog walks. Highly recommend the cafe at the sea front, amazing cakes and hot chocolate! We venture to the Nelsons Head for lunch one of the day’s and wasn’t disappointed. Great home cooked pub grub. The cottage itself had everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our 6 night stay and we were very lucky with the weather! Thank you for having us.

Lovely few days spent at Sea Holly Cottage, a lot of thought has gone in to the furnishings and decor very arts and craft we loved it. Garden was a great sun trap and we spent the warm evenings enjoying a glass of fizz in the garden. The house is equipped with everything you need for a lovely break, with super comfy beds. The house is 5 mins from the beach, and 2 mins from the shop, chippy and Poppy’s tearoom and about 10 seconds to the pub across the road - what more could you ask for? Thank you Owen for letting us stay in your lovely home.

Beautiful cottage, very well located and has everything you need. It’s a shame there was scaffolding round the whole house due to roof being re-thatched, so didn’t see the real beauty. Would deffo come back again. Thank you.

We had a wonderful weekend away at Sea Holly Cottage. The cottage is well maintained and was spotless. Everything you need for a relaxing break. Opposite to a lovely pub great food and very friendly. The beach us beautiful and the local fish and chip shop is a gem. We will return again.

Recently spent our annual girlie getaway at Sea Holly Cottage. Wonderful house in a great location within this fabulous village. Clean, well equipped and comfortable. Would happily return!

We spent 4 fantastic nights with family to celebrate a birthday at Sea Holly Cottage. I cannot speak highly enough of house itself and location. Exceptionally clean, well maintained, clear instructions on arrival. Near beach and local pub with great beer & food. Book you won’t be disappointed!!
