  • Three generations stayed here for a long weekend. Well equipped. Plenty of parking. Good location. Nice and warm. Storage limited. Close to amenities.

  • We had a lovely week in this modern property that had everything you could need for an enjoyable holiday. Little touches like automatic night lighting and torches for walking in the dark were appreciated. Would love to come back in the summer to fully enjoy the upstairs terrace. Highly recommend.

  • The best property we have visited in the East Coast region by far! Top quality residence with everything you would need and so very quiet and relaxing. Location is perfect for walks in the dunes or along the pristine sandy beaches. Very friendly people in the village and The Fisherman’s Return pub is not to be missed. We will definitely be returning - if there is any availability!!…..

  • Perfect location, only a walk away to the dunes and the chippy! Lovely house, so comfortable with a lovely sitting area outside. We enjoyed spending time out there watching the stars and drinking our coffees in the morning. Thank you for a lovely stay, we would recommend here to anyone!

  • We have had a lovely stay in Winterton-on-Sea and Grayling House is very nice in a great location. Lovely walks and a very nice beach. The food in Seal View is yummy. I'm sure we will be back for another visit.

  • We had an amazing week at Grayling House. The House is beautiful with its gorgeous modern design. It certainly attracts a lot of attention from passers by on one of the lovely local walks. The house was well equipped and we didn't want for anything. This was our first visit to Winterton-on-Sea and we highly recommend the stunning beach and dune walks that never feel too busy or crowded. For a nice morning on the broads, we would recommend Banks Boats & Canoe Hire (only 20 mins away by car).

All in all we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend both Grayling House and Winterton.

  • We had the most wonderful relaxing week here. To be honest it wasn't long enough! Everything is perfect. Such a beautiful house & furnishings. It has everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. Love the design and everything in it.

The location is perfect too. It's a lovely wildlife haven - a male muntjac deer frequents the garden and we had seals accompany us on our walk along the beach everyday. We saw hares as well as numerous birds across the dunes.

Fish & chips from Winterton was tasty. Phone or book on the app in advance to avoid queueing. Breakfast at Poppy's was delicious and their bread was too. We went to Brill Fish (Caister on Sea) for fresh fish - the fishmonger was so friendly. Everyone we met was so friendly and welcoming. We are so looking forward to returning.

  • We have had a lovely stay in Grayling House. Such a beautiful house in the perfect location. This is our second time staying in Winterton-on-Sea and I'm sure it won't be our last! Thanks again for a fantastic stay.

  • Came to stay in the middle of July. Long car journey from the Peak District but totally worth it. Beautiful, quiet, friendly community. Absolutely stunning beaches full of wildlife and sealife. The House was amazing - it was perfectly designed but very practical. Loved spending time here sleeping. Cosy nights in front of the TV, eating and when the weather wasn't so good. Sad to leave.
