Property Details

Brand new for 2024, Field Barn (sleeps 6) is part of a select development of four luxury barn conversions. It's next door but completely separate to High Barn (sleeps 8) and the two can be hired together to sleep up to 14. Each barn has it's own entrance, parking and fully enclosed garden. Located in the historic coastal village of Happisburgh, the barns have been sympathetically restored to offer luxury living with fantastic rural views.

Field Barn is all on one level, and has a large living room with comfortable seating, dining table and a smart TV. The modern kitchen and dining area has an integrated fridge, freezer, an electric hob, integrated oven, microwave, coffee machine and a dishwasher. The utility room has a washer and dryer.

The largest bedroom has a superking size bed, smart TV and ensuite shower room, and there's a second bedroom also with a superking size bed, smart TV and ensuite shower room. Bedroom three has a supering size bed which can be split into twin 3' single beds and has access to the family bathroom.

Outside, the garden is fully enclosed with a lawned area and hot tub. There is parking for several cars and an EV charger available as an optional extra. Three dogs are welcome at no additional charge at Field Barn. An additional dog may be considered for a small charge. There is Wi-Fi throughout the property.

The iconic red and white striped lighthouse at Happisburgh is open to the public during the year (check their website for opening times) and offers amazing views from the top. Happisburgh itself is a pretty seaside village with a village shop and an excellent fresh fish shop. Around Happisburgh, there's a choice of countryside walks across footpaths, or the sandy beach is a 5 minute drive away. The nearest pub is Hill House and we can also recommend The Star at Lessingham.

The market town of Stalham is 5 minutes drive from Field Barn with shops and a supermarket. The famous East Ruston Vicarage Gardens are nearby, and Smallsticks Cafe at Cart Gap is the ideal stop after a beach walk. Wroxham is a 20 minute drive away, and offers boat hire and river trips - a great jumping off point to explore the Norfolk Broads. The stately homes of Blickling and Felbrigg are within an easy drive, or Norwich is a half hour away with it's magnificent cathedral, cafes & restaurants as well as excellent shopping.

  • Beautiful restoration of a Norfolk barn, spacious, well equipped with high quality fixtures, fittings and furnishings, lovely garden and hot tub. Fabulous! Fantastic online instructions, descriptions and recommendations - best we've ever seen. Quiet rural location within walking distance of village, pubs and beach, ideal for the dogs.

  • I was a little nervous as I booked the trip last minute before photos of the barn were available but I needn’t have been. It was absolutely beautiful ! Set down a quiet peaceful lane everything about it was welcoming. The interior is absolutely immaculate, the beds super comfortable and every detail has been taken care of with the added bonus of having a relaxing hot tub. The area is lovely for dog walks and just a short walk to Happisburgh beach which with its lovely lighthouse was perfect for my daughter’s photography. Thank you for a truly lovely restful break.
