Property Details

Recently renovated, Seaview is on a quiet residential road overlooking Winterton Valley with direct access to the dunes below via a private gate at the end of the garden. With amazing sea views, this property is the perfect holiday home on the coast.

The front porch leads into a modern well equipped kitchen, with electric oven, hob, integrated fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. There's also a washing machine and separate drier. The open plan living and dining area makes the most of the fabulous sea views with double doors opening up to the enclosed back garden.

There are two beautifully decorated and comfortable bedrooms: the main bedroom has a standard size double bed and sea views, and the second bedroom has twin single beds. There's a modern shower room with a walk in shower, washbasin and WC.

The property is dog friendly with hard flooring, dog throws, bowls and an outside dog shower. The garden is enclosed and there are miles of great walks on the doorstep. It's a 5-10 minute walk into Hemsby where there are shops, cafes and restaurants as well as amusements. Or if you fancy something quieter it's a 15-20 minute walk to Winterton-on-Sea.

Outside there's a large decking area to the side of the cottage which makes the most of the evening sun. The back garden is fully enclosed with a low hedge (with stock wire fencing in) at the back to make the most of the sea views. Wifi, freeview and Netflix are included, and the cottage is centrally heated throughout. There is off road parking for one car. Four dogs are welcome at Seaview, but depending on size more may be possible - please ask us for more details.

  • We had yet another lovely stay at Seaview. Although the weather wasn't brilliant, it was cosy clean comfortable. Nice easy walking distance to Hemsby for donuts and a pleasant lunch at the pub there. Recommend this cottage.

  • Wow what a super place amazing cottage and location. Cottage was spotless and Sonia and Steve have thought of everything you need even for the fur babies. Stunning views and access from the garden straight out onto the dunes Great when you have an anxious dog who refuses to pavement walk. Lovely welcoming dog friendly pub just across the road. Already booked for next year. Thank you for the lovely welcome pack!

  • This is a beautiful cottage with amazing views. Exceptionally clean, luxury bed linen, well equiped kitchen and lovely welcome pack to include homemade dog treats. Great attention to detail for humans but also to include throws for the dogs and outside wash area for them. If you don't have dogs don'y worry it may be "doggy" there is no hint of hairs or smells! I would definitely stay here again, had a problem with the heating that the owners sorted on a phonecall. If you want a relaxing peaceful break with great views this is for you.

  • This ended up being a relatively last minute booking with two friends for a doggy weekend away. Booking was smooth and pre check in information was comprehensive and helpful, particularly the online book. The actual property has been finished to a really high standard and whilst modern is cosy. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, with everything you could think of and more. The communal space was plenty and this was with three large dogs. Beds and bedding were comfortable with ample space in both rooms for storage. The view and access to the beach from the property is perfect. Winterton is only a 20-25 mins walk away, which is a lovely little village. The host was easy to contact and quick to respond. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

  • We had a fabulous time at Seaview, lots of great dog walks, paddling, watching the seals. Hemsby and Winterton-on-Sea are really dog friendly. Seaview was everything you want in a holiday cottage so homely. Everything you need is there I even took my welly puller, but there was one already there! We had great views of storm Babet while we were there, would highly recommend 😀

  • Fabulous cosy bungalow , very well equipped with superb sea views. Sonia has thought of everything including a brilliant welcome pack for the humans and one for the dog! Great place to explore the area, from seaside resorts to the inland Broads. Winterton is a lovely little village, great pub , fish & chip shop, convenience store and cafes (superb one near the beach). We will definitely return.

  • We only stayed for 3 nights but the cottage was fabulously set up for us and our 4 doggies and would of been comfortable for a longer stay , everything we needed and more which made travelling so much easier as we didn't need to bring so much with us. A beautiful spot and would definitely stay again if we were thinking of staying in the area.

  • A truly lovely place to stay. The cottage itself is immaculate and the cosiest place with lots of attention to detail and incredibly dog friendly. The views are amazing and so nice to just slip the dog on the lead go through the garden gate and be on the dunes for fantastic beach walks. Thank you for a really beautiful peaceful stay.

  • Location, location, location!!! What an absolute gem of a cottage and as close to the beach as you could possibly be. I’m a regular visitor to this part of Norfolk but can honestly say this was the cosiest place I’ve stayed in with the best views. The spec in the cottage is high, and all the little extras Sonia has added make it a dream of a holiday destination. I will definitely be back! Thank you Sonia for sharing your little gem 🥰💞

  • Wow!! What a find! Such a fabulous, welcoming cottage which has being lovingly furnished & equipped. The position on the dunes is to die for & was really what our holiday was about. We all loved every minute & will definitely be booking again.

  • This was a perfect set up for our requirements. Just the right size, well equipped to a high standard and walking distance to the beach via the garden. In addition, the thought that has gone into what a dog friendly residence should provide is the best we have experienced. I cannot speak highly enough of Seaview.

  • We stayed at Seaview in September and it was all we had hoped for and more! The cottage was spotless and had everything we could possibly need for our stay including bits for the dogs. The close proximity to the beach was perfect as our two older dogs are arthritic and would have struggled with a longer walk. We had a very relaxing week and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend highly and would definitely visit again.

  • We are regular visitors to the Winterton area, and can safely say that this is the most "homely" and comfortable cottage we have stayed in.
The cottage has everything you could wish for, and need for a relaxing vacation (especially the garden furniture which is easy to snooze on in the afternoon in the sun). Our dog Rocco really enjoyed the garden which was completely secure, he also enjoyed scrumping blackberries. It was so good that we have already booked for next year.
