If you are looking for a walking holiday with your dog this is ideal place to stay. The Cottage has your every need and was just lovely and clean. Lots of car free public footpaths on your doorstep and about 2km walk to the sea. Private parking area so no need to panic for a parking space and driving you are within 15/20 mins from Gt Yarmouth, Sea Pauling and Hosey Gap / NT Hosey windmill. Although we were busy we really loved our stay here and had a relaxing time. Burgh Castle and the local pub there well worth a visit too. Thank you so much to the hosts for letting us stay and discover that part of Norfolk - Loved it!

We instantly felt at home when we arrived and had a wonderful stay. The barn is spacious and cozy at the same time, and we were very happy to hang out inside when it got a bit rainy. The large living room was perfect for the family to sit together. I also loved one of the room upstairs as a retreat for myself to do yoga or read. And the main bedroom has a very comfy bed and tons of storage space. We love to cook and eat at home and the kitchen had everything we could have asked for.
Our travel group is not the easiest (2 beagles and a 1-yr old baby) and this barn provided everything we needed. The outside space is not just gated, but actually beagle-proof (which is rare). There is a microwave, a bathtub, a high chair, a lovely welcome pack (including milk and wine), dog towels... you name it.
Lovely location in a quiet place. Lots of opportunities to explore, but you don't need to use the car at all as there are several nice walks directly from the house and you can walk to the dunes/beach. We loved walking in the dunes, saw some seals, and the beach is gorgeous. Great chippy and cafe in the village (walking distance), amazing farm shops nearby, and I'd highly recommend visiting Norwich for a day if you haven't been.

What a gem this lovely barn conversion was. The best holiday property we have stayed in Norfolk so far. We love Norfolk and it’s beautiful coastline and to find this stunning property made out stay even more pleasant. The owners have thought of everything and the special touches like fresh flowers I have never seen before in a holiday let and very dog friendly too with water bowls dotted around. The property was spotless too. Would recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful location but within walking distance to sea. It’s a 10/10 from us and our dog. We have already now booked the owners other property in Happisburgh for our main holiday and can’t wait to see that too.

This was a lovely cottage, and we had a wonderful stay. The cottage is perfect for dogs - with a safe enclosed front and back garden. It was spotlessly clean, and all amenities and appliances needed provided in the kitchen etc. Two good sized bathrooms and bedrooms. The cottage is in a great location close to the beach and also for exploring local villages, the Broads and also the larger cities and towns. All communication was quick and straightforward. Private parking for several cars. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a lovely week and would definitely visit again. The nearby church ruins are incredible and the accommodation is stylish, clean and comfortable. It’s also a perfect location being slightly cut off but close enough to access everything in the area. Thank you.

We were greeted by a spotlessly clean, cosy and warm home for the week. In particular, it was lovely to find such wonderful soft bedding and towels. The kitchen was well equipped and along with the bathrooms (and indeed the whole barn) was extremely clean - we immediately felt at home. There is a wide driveway for parking and the barn is in a quiet location offering privacy but also close to shops. Sue (the owner) was helpful and kind. We definitely plan to return!

We totally love Old Church Barn, this is our third time there, but first time going in December, it was all beautifully decorated and so warm and cosy….quite different from our September stays but it never disappoints. The location is perfect for us, a lovely walk to Winterton beach, and our dogs love it too! Needless to say we have booked again for next September!

The Old Church Barn is situated in a beautiful area of Norfolk. Close to the beach,the Broads and gorgeous little villages.The accommodation itself is amazing and immaculately clean. True Norfolk !!

We had the most wonderful stay at Old Church Barn. It’s spotlessly clean and beautiful designed inside. Literally on the circular walk for Winterton and has everything you need for a really chilled stay. We will be back without doubt!

The cottage was lovely & clean & very comfortable. The treat basket was very much appreciated. There was lots of literature about the local area and some very nice places to eat.

Lovely stay at Old Church Barn cottage - very well presented, spotlessly clean and modern. Great location for walks to the lovely beach and local pub. Nice touch to have a small welcome pack and fresh flowers. Highly recommended.

Second time here and as great as last year and I can see us coming back again next year, we just love the Old Church Barn. We love staying in the little hamlet of East Somerton and taking the walk down the lane to Winterton with the dogs who really love running about on the beach. Great fish and chip shop and good food at the Fisherman’s Return.

Old Church Barn was a fantastic place to stay. It was better than the photographs with comfort both inside and out. The kitchen was well equipped and using things like the washing machine and retractable line easy. We had a great 14 days here in this beautiful part of the world. Walks from the door, dunes beach sunsets what more could you want. Thank you.

We had a wonderful time at the Old Church Barn. It is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The treats box was very much appreciated, as were all the extras that were provided. The location is very quiet, yet only minutes from the beach and attractions. We will definitely be booking again next time we are in Norfolk. Many thanks to Sue.

My friend and I had an amazing weekend at Old Church Barn. Spent the weekend house hunting again and the barn was better than home from home. Would highly recommend it to everyone. A touch above and very comfortable. Definitely would come back very soon as the setting is idilic.

Old Church Barn with Winterton Cottages was great! The place was very clean and tidy. It was also very close to the beach - walking distance about 17 mins. It was very well decorated and had comfortable furniture and lovely bed. The pictures match the place and the communication was friendly and proactive.
