Inside, the living room offers a warm and homely atmosphere, complete with a comfortable sofa, armchair, large TV and a woodburning stove - ideal for cosy evenings after long coastal walks or winter getaways on the Norfolk coast.

The well-equipped kitchen has everything needed for a relaxing self-catering holiday, including a built-in oven and electric hob, fridge, coffee machine, air fryer and washing machine, making longer stays easy and convenient.

Ocean Sunrise comfortably sleeps up to four guests across two thoughtfully furnished bedrooms - one featuring a king-size bed and the other a comfortable double bedroom. The modern bathroom includes a walk-in shower, basin and WC.

Outside, guests can enjoy both the front and rear enclosed gardens, providing secure outdoor space for children and dogs to relax safely. Outdoor seating at both the front and back of the property allows you to enjoy the sunshine throughout the day while taking in the fresh sea air.

There is electric heating throughout, free wifi and two dogs are welcome free of charge. They may join you in all the living areas and on the sofas (please bring your own throws).

Ocean Sunrise is set in a quiet crescent in Scratby, conveniently located between the exciting seaside town of Great Yarmouth and the peaceful tranquillity of the Norfolk Broads National Park. It’s the ideal base whether you’re after traditional seaside fun or quiet days exploring the countryside and waterways of the Broads.

Great Yarmouth is just a short drive away, offering all the attractions of a classic British seaside resort — from golden beaches and two lively piers with live shows and music, to the Pleasure Beach, Joyland, Sea Life Centre and plenty of amusements, cafés and restaurants along the seafront. For a slower pace, the Norfolk Broads provide endless opportunities for relaxation, with peaceful boat trips, wildlife spotting, and scenic walks through unspoilt landscapes.

Right on your doorstep, just a few minutes’ walk from Ocean Sunrise, you’ll find plenty to enjoy. Scratby Bakery is moments away. Their fresh bread, cakes and filled sandwiches are hard to turn down! The nearby California Tavern serves delicious food and hosts regular entertainment, while Oasis Pool offers indoor swimming during the holiday season. There’s also a traditional fish and chip shop, a Chinese takeaway, and a choice of local eateries close by. All within east walking distance you will also find a mini market, post office, garden centre, and Whites Wine Bar (open seasonally).

For beach access, there is a sloped pavement 5 minutes walk away leading down onto the golden sands that stretch for miles along the coast in both directions.

The historic city of Norwich is around a 40-minute drive away, offering excellent shopping, museums, galleries, restaurants and theatres — perfect for a day out before returning to the calm of the coast.
