Hall Farm Barn

It was our first time at Hall Farm Barns and I can say what a beautiful place, Sue and Simon have thought of everything, the accommodation was immaculate inside and out our dog George enjoyed the country walks & beach also the garden which was very safe for him. We even got to see a combine harvester up close which was amazing, will certainly be back. Well done Sue & Simon.

We’ve just got back from our stay at Hall Farm Barn, Happisburgh and thoroughly enjoyed our time & can’t wait to go back again. Everything has been carefully thought out, high end furnishings and comfort. Cleanliness was superb! Very dog friendly, everything enclosed, location is great close to the many fabulous beaches and coastal walks. Home from home, what a gem.

This was our second visit to Hall Farm Barn which was thoroughly enjoyable. It offers high quality accommodation in a very tranquil setting, although not too far from everything needed to make a memorable holiday. Thanks again Sue and Simon.

Hall Farm Barn is a home away from home the owners have thought of everything for a comfortable stay. Two ensuites for two couples was ideal and an additional toilet made things extra comfortable. Outside space was ideal for breakfast and evening drinks. We didn't cook as we ate out most evenings so didn't use any of the three ovens provided. But everything you need was thought of and provided.

Had the most amazing stay. The property was perfect for what we needed. A lovely quiet location, and had everything we needed. Will definitely visit again.

A great quiet place in the countryside to explore the Norfolk Broads and further afield. Very comfortable, modern and clean accommodation. Good communication with Winterton Cottages and the owner so overall very straight forward. The perfect place to completely get away from it all but close enough to everything Norfolk has to offer.

Booked within a couple of days which turned out to be such a surprising find. Just where we wanted to be, somewhere on the Norfolk Coast near North Walsham. Ideal for us and loved the walks on the lovely sandy beaches. Hall Farm Barn set in amongst private and secluded properties. Superb barn conversion well equipped with all you need to make your stay memorable. Dog friendly it is secure back and front, with a nice seating area, over looking farm fields making it a nice private back garden. Two lovely sized bedrooms both en-suite, a well equipped modern kitchen and relaxing lounge area. The barn space has been very well designed and it’s size was ideal for us four and our two dogs. We really enjoyed our short break here and Hall Farm Barn made it special. Hopefully we will be able book again sometime.

Excellent recent stay at Hall Farm Barn, very high spec accommodation, great location in quiet surroundings and spotlessly clean. Lovely walks available from the property and most places to visit are only a short drive away. We’ll certainly look forward to returning at some point in the future.

The best cottage we've stayed in and especially well suited for the dogs because of being ground floor open plan living with a back door to the completely secured garden including the courtyard frontage with it's own gated entrance, so no chance for them to disappear into the countryside! As for us humans, this was home from home as the property is well equipped and well appointed throughout, especially the kitchen. We brought with us a home cooked Lasagne and all the accompaniments and within a short while of our arrival we sat at the dining table with our best friends, and the dishwasher did a great job Great escape from normal life, and the children. We'll be back sometime soon.

Loved our stay at Hall Barn Farm. What a beautiful place. High quality fittings and everything was spotlessly clean. Felt right at home as soon as we got there. Would definitely stay again if we returned to Norfolk.

This place is the pinnacle of self-catering stays. The owner clearly has extremely good taste, but that aside, everything has been thought about very carefully. We are two adults and two dogs. We all loved every aspect of it, and the secure area for the dogs is very useful. We found the beds comfortable. Plenty of towels, toilet rolls and soap provided. The kitchen is amazing and I am very jealous of it! We really appreciated all the equipment and cleaning products. And we particularly appreciated the lovely welcome gifts.

Had a lovely stay over Christmas and the barn was decorated beautifully for the festive period. Nice little Christmas treats left for us too. For dogs the garden is enclosed all round. My two are not interested in escaping but the Vizsla would have been over the back gate if he chose to so it’s not going to stop an escape artist but he can jump a 6ft fence anyway if he wants. For most dogs they will be absolutely fine. Hose for washing muddy paws and a box of clean fresh dog towels for drying off. Water bowls dotted around too. Inside there was plenty of room in the kitchen for 2 dog crates (1 large, 1 medium) and a stair gate to keep them out of the bedroom area. Also a hoover which got a lot of use! For the humans both bedrooms are equal with en suite shower rooms. Comfy beds and nice and dark so we slept like babies! One en-suite also has built in toothbrush chargers which I haven’t seen before but was very useful for a week stay. Plenty of wardrobe space and hairdryer etc. Washing machine and dryer, iron and board etc. Kitchen has everything you need including a boiling water tap which I now miss very much! Location is great. Short walk to the lighthouse and the beach on a quiet lane. Off lead dog walks behind the barn. Short drive to other beaches/ towns. We had a Tesco grocery delivery no problem at all and there was a Waitrose too. Would like to come back in summer to appreciate the outdoor space more. Nice covered area with a heater, lights and a sink. Plenty of parking 4 cars easy if you don’t mind reversing down the drive. Overall we had a fab stay.

We stayed in Hall Farm Barn between the 16th November & the 19th as a last minute break away & after staying earlier in the year in the owners sister property Old Church Barn this really didn't disappoint. This is to the same beautiful standard & people say it's like a home from home but for us it's better than that! Sometimes the whole point in getting away is to treat yourself to nicer things be it the place you stay in or the surroundings being more peaceful & relaxing than your day to day life which this 100% is. The owners Sue & Simon have an amazing eye for detail which we really appreciate & there really wasn't anything we didn't like even down to the welcome basket of goodies & seeing as I was celebrating my birthday even I got some lovely little surprises which I was totally gobsmacked by! This is the perfect place for a chilled out getaway from the rat race of life but with plenty of lovely countryside walks right outside your door or plenty of stuff within easy reach by car. I honestly cannot recommend Hall Farm Barn enough & we all loved it especially our Cockapoo Archie & we truly feel this is our happy place! Sue & Simon you should feel very proud & we hope to be a customer for a very long time. 10/10

Hall Farm Barn is a stunning barn conversion in a great location. The fixtures and furnishings are of a high standard and the barn is spotlessly clean, and has everything that you could need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. We loved the garden which has great views over the fields and was very secure for our dog. Lots of lovely walks directly from the barn and close by. Hall Farm Barn was a beautiful property, everything was catered for it was like being home from home. Everything was done to a very high standard. The location was perfect for visiting local areas. I highly recommend staying in this accommodation when visiting Norfolk.

Just back from a short break staying in Hall Farm Barn. We loved the barn and felt very relaxed there from the moment we went inside. Everything was top notch, so modern, clean and well thought out. We were lucky with the weather and spent some time relaxing in the very private and dog safe garden which had great views over the open fields. We would highly recommend staying at such a lovely holiday home. Thank you so much.

Fantastic property in a great location with stunning views. Furnishings are all to a very high standard and there is little more you could ask for. Welcome pack was greatly appreciated with some lovely holiday treats. Garden furniture is similarly high quality, perfect for enjoying a late summer sunny afternoon.

Spent the last week of August here at Hall Farm Barn. Beautiful location and the barn is gorgeous. It’s been finished to a very high standard and is very comfortable with everything you could possibly expect. It’s spotlessly clean and very well equipped for a relaxing stay. We’d stayed at another of Sue & Simon’s properties in East Somerton (Old Church Barn) last year and were so impressed we came here this year. We weren’t disappointed and are looking forward to coming back again soon!

Our first time staying in Happisburgh and we certainly picked the most perfect place to stay for the week. The barn is of an extremely high quality finish. Everything you could wish for a perfect stay was provided. Super comfy beds. Lovely and quiet surroundings. Could not fault a thing. Lovely having the owners close by, and a thank you for the wonderful treats which were left for us. Our dog Dolly loved the garden, which is very secure. We were lucky with glorious sunshine all week and certainly made the most of the sunny days in the back garden. Lots of lovely walks close by. Would certainly return, in fact my husband said whilst we were away we would return. Dolly loved it too. Thank you for a perfect stay.

We have had a wonderful week in very comfortable surroundings. The renovation of the property has been done to a very high standard making it a very relaxing time for us. It made for a special place to come back to after trips to the lovely nearby beaches and walks. With very many thanks from us all.

We expected it to be good, but this has exceeded all our expectations. Fabulous and agree with everything people have said before us and more! Star Inn very good at Lessingham. Friendly and also great if you have your dogs with you. We very much hope to come back - even though we are 5 hours away. It's so peaceful. So much more to explore!
