  • We love Diane and her property! Diane the owner was welcomed, friendly and kind. I can only wish that everyone would be so awesome, welcomed and make the personal connection as Diane did. From a point of arrival to the end we felt like we are at home. An amazing and relaxing stay. The bonus was the large garden, there was plenty of space for our two large dogs to run around and play football. Thank you for making our mini holiday special.

  • The White House and its garden are stunning; the perfect setting for a relaxing break. Well equipped kitchen, spotlessly clean and several seating areas to choose from. Not far from the beach. Beautiful!

  • Stupendous property, gardens, bedrooms, en suites, living room. So much seating both inside and outside to accommodate 11 guests. Beautifully equipped kitchen, and everything done so tastefully. It made our family celebration for 11 of us such a wonderful experience. They even organised beautiful warm, sunny weather. Would highly recommend.

  • Thank you Diane for such a lovely house. We've all had a very enjoyable week. We had everything we needed and more! Very kind of
you to supply a replacement coffee machine so quickly! Hirst's Farm shop well worth a visit (5 min drive) esp if you like scotch eggs (best I've ever had!) Hopefully see you again soon!

  • We had a fab family holiday here in September. Lots of room in the house for all of us to have our own space if need be and the garden is beautiful, perfect for us to sit outside with a drink or have a meal. Our grandson and Ralph the sausage dog loved being out in the garden, bed times were late some evenings as it was too much fun running around the tree. Great walk down the footpath to Winterton and then onto the beach for a paddle (the weather was very kind to us!). It had everything thing we needed for our stay and we will definitely be back for another stay. Diane is a great host and her marmalade and brownies were delicious!

  • Wow ! Just stunning, we stayed here on the 23rd September-30th September and had a lovely week. Huge house and garden which is beautifully kept, everything you need is there with no expense spared. The log fire was amazing on the chilly evenings and really made it feel cosy. Well equipped kitchen with a fab cooker and everything else you need. Great fish and chip shop in the Village and of course the Fishermans Return is always a firm dog friendly favourite for us. Worth a little drive to Stalham as The Wayford Bridge Inn does super food in lovely surroundings and is also dog friendly. Diane (the owner) was very welcoming and on hand if we needed anything). Can’t rave enough about this stunning property definitely ideal for a large family get together. Thank you Diane x

  • We have had a lovely week here. This is a super family house and the garden has been wonderful fun for the children. They have loved playing with the toys too. Poppy's is a great tea room and fish and chips are excellent. Also good pub grub at The Fisherman's! Very good playground in the village. Gt Yarmouth Sea Life centre is well worth a visit as was Wroxham Miniature Railway World. A great time was had by three generations.

  • What a wonderful house and garden! And what an amazing place! We've all had a great time here - the kids have enjoyed playing in the garden and we've had lovely lunches under the shade of the birch tree. A massive highlight was swimming with seals in the sea! The fish and chips from the village were great as was the seafood from Dabs N Crabs. Dinner at The Boathouse was also really good and a beautiful location. We would definitely come back and bring the bikes next time. Thank you!

  • We had a wonderful stay at The White House (22nd-29th July) and loved the house and position. It was beautifully kitted out inside and out – Diane was delightful and helpful and found the BBQ for us! We were a family of ages ranging from 2 yrs old to 76 yrs old and found it suited all the ages. The children had brought their bikes and scooters and used them continually, not only in the garden but on the concrete roads of the Burnley Hall Estate (on the footpaths). Our dogs loved the dog friendly area, and we walked miles with them. Wonderful sandy beaches were enjoyed by the children and the dogs. Ross a boat owner at Horsey Mill took us all out on a nature trip along the broads – very good local knowledge from him as well as the nature! We hope to return next year sometime.

  • After returning from a week at the White House, I can honestly say it was the perfect home for a family holiday. There were four geneartions from four different areas of the UK and it was the perfect home in the perfect location for a great meet up.
The house itself is beautifully furnished and really well thought out. There is plenty of space with a lovely, cosy sitting room and a tv that was nicely hidden in a cupboard.....until the teenagers found it! The kitchen is very well equipped and a great oven which can sometimes be a bit hit and miss in holiday homes. The bedrooms were excellent and again very well thought out. Each one is very tastefully decorated in its own individual colour scheme and the beds are as comfortable as you could wish for. One of the bedrooms is en suite and there were also two other bathrooms upstairs. One of the group has mobility issues so she was in the annexe downstairs which was very well equipped like the rest of White House.
The garden is absolutely amazing from the lovely flower beds to the vast space for playing garden games to the summerhouse for those that want a little peace and quiet. The week we were there was very warm and sunny and there are lots of little shady spots for those that dont like being out in the direct sun. There is also a great patio area with two big tables and lots of seating and a great place to relax with a drink and have some food. It was a pleasure to be able to eat outside and not be frozen stiff.
We meet up every year for the family gathering and have been to many differenent holiday homes in different parts of the country and White House has got to be one of the best, if not the best we've stayed in.

  • We've all have a fantastic week in the perfect home for a family holiday. Wonderful weather has topped the week off perfectly. The house is a really home from home and the garden is amazing. We really didn't;t want to do too much visiting of the local area due to such a perfect spot. Hopefully we'll be back some time soon in the future. It felt a little extra special due to us being the first guests.
