Property Details

Cobbles End is situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in the centre of the village, and has been renovated and newly furnished by the current owners. It's a modern, detached bungalow which offers accommodation for up to four people in two bedrooms with one bathroom.

The spacious living room has enough comfortable seating for four people, a wood burning stove and a large smart TV. An opening to the kitchen gives the feeling of space, and means this is a sociable place to spend your holiday with friends or family. The well equipped kitchen has an electric oven, hob, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. There's a table in the kitchen which seats four people. A door from the kitchen leads to the garage where you'll find a washing machine.

The master bedroom overlooks the back garden and has a comfortable king size bed. Bedroom two has twin single (3') beds. There is also a garden room with patio doors leading to the large back garden - the perfect place to curl up on the sofa and relax with a book. In the bathroom there's a bath, separate shower, washbasin and WC.

Outside, the large enclosed rear garden has patio furniture for al fresco dining. Cobbles End has free wifi and off road parking for two cars. Up to two dogs are welcome at Cobbles End for a small charge of £15 per dog.

  • We felt right at home, as soon as we began our stay at Cobbles End, it being well appointed and comfortable. Our X5 just about fitted on the front but you could get two, more modest vehicles there if needed instead. Being at the end of a cul-de-sac the position is very quiet. At the rear is a very well laid out garden which, providing the two iron gates are shut, provide a secure area for your dogs to freely run and play. At night the garden is very dark, should you wish to veiw the stary sky, (I wish I had brought my telescope)!

Can I say how good the tea room at Poppy's (adjoining the Post Office/ Newsagent) at which I highly recommend the Bread Pudding. (Which can also be bought on a takeaway basis!) Dogs are also very welcome in these tea rooms.

We will definitely be returning to Winterton and Cobbles End in the future.

  • This is a beautiful bungalow, very well appointed and comfy with everything you could need. It's in a very quiet cul-de-sac, with a lovely and secure garden (we have little dogs so I did check there were no escape holes!), and yet only a couple of minutes around the corner to the pub or a few more minutes on to the fabulous beach. The bungalow itself has a very comfy sofa and bed (we just used the double bedroom) and a large TV for the evenings. The kitchen has everything you could need and is very pretty. The chocolates and prosecco left for our arrival were a very nice touch and much appreciated! We love Winterton and have been here multiple times in lots of different places and this is probably the most comfortable bungalow we've been in - the shower pressure could be stronger, but in the grand scheme of things something I can definitely put up with! We would definitely return here and hope to do so again in the not too distant future.

  • Stayed for a week at Cobbles End The bungalow was comfortable and well equipped. The garden is totally enclosed and therefore safe for dogs. Winterton is a pretty village with friendly people. Great dog walking on the beach and dunes which are only a short walk away.

  • Cobbles End is a beautiful very comfortable and well presented Bungalow in a very peaceful residential location. The garden in particular was a bonus for our doggie and the local people so warm and welcoming. We enjoyed walking the lovely beach and the the Dunes , the Dunes Cafe is particularly good for breakfasts and snacks. The local Pub is within walking distance of the Bungalow as is the local Chippy and a great shop and Post Office. All of this and it is only a short drive to a number of other places to visit including Great Yarmouth, Wroxham and Potter Heigham. Will definitely be booking again.

  • Stayed here for a weekend break. Cottage is lovely, spacious, comfortable, large kitchen, well decorated and looked after. Garden is brilliant, fully enclosed for the dogs to run out in. Winterton is a lovely village, with a great dog friendly pub, definitely a must visit when you stay, and its only round the corner! We will hope to come back and stay again.

  • Just spent a week in this lovely comfortable bungalow, with everything one needs for a relaxing stay. A nice garden for dogs to enjoy and a quiet location. Winterton is a lovely friendly place with lots of walks far and near. Also not forgetting the great pubs for food and drink.

  • First time at Cobbles End, although we have stayed at Winterton for many years now. The cottage is well equipped, exceptionally clean and a beautiful place to stay. Ideally situated to have long walks along the valley, dunes and beach, our dogs love it here. We will definitely be back next year.

  • Just back from a lovely stay in Cobbles End. The bungalow was deceptively spacious and had everything you needed (the wine and chocolates were much appreciated). Winterton is a quiet and relaxing village and with the beach being only a 5 minute walk its just perfect.
