Property Details

Enter Bulmer Cottage into a lovely large and airy entrance hall. Here is access to upstairs via the forward staircase. The large downstairs bathroom is in front of you with a double walk-in shower, WC and hand basin.

From the hall you walk into the living area where there are comfortable sofas, a traditional wood burner and a TV. At the back of the living area there is a set of Norfolk-winder stairs to take you up to the second bedroom. Through the living area you'll find a separate dining room with seating for 6, and then the modern kitchen which runs the length of the property. There is a double oven, hob, fridge-freezer, washing machine and dishwasher for your use. The kitchen has access to the large enclosed rear courtyard with seating.

Upstairs via the front staircase from the hall you will find the third bedroom with two 3' single beds. Opposite here is the main bathroom with roll-top bath, separate single walk-in shower, hand basin and WC. Straight ahead is the main bedroom with views over the pretty courtyard garden. There is a double bed and wardrobe. There is an inter-connecting door to the second bedroom which also has a double bed. The second bedroom has views over the front of the property and access to the living area via the second staircase.

Bulmer Cottage has unlimited free Wifi for guests, welcomes two dogs free of charge and has off-road parking on the driveway for two cars. The cottage is close to the church in Winterton-on-Sea, and is a 10 minute walk from the beach.

Bulmer Cottage is a lovely, quirky cottage a ten minute saunter from the beach. Immediate wow factor for parents and kids alike, clearly designed for beach goers with wet room and spacious tiled atrium immediately adjacent to front door. Cleaned to a very high standard (not easy with all that interior cobble, I’d imagine). Comfortable beds, everyone slept well. Beautiful bathroom as well as wet room. Nice sitting space outside with pretty lighting for evenings. The view of Great Yarmouth’s regular firework display down the coast was an unexpected bonus. The seals at Horsey were a highlight and it was handy for Bewilderwood too…. Oh, and thanks for the beverages and snacks on arrival. Much appreciated…. I don’t think I’ve missed anything. Overall, I’d definitely stay here again. Thanks to the owners, managers and cleaners. 😊

Our stay at Winterton Cottage was lovely. Really enjoyed the area, very close to the beach, and a great local pub roughly a 4 minute walk away. We would 100% recommend this home to anyone!

We loved the cottage. It was beautifully decorated and fitted out. The beds were very comfortable and the showers great. Winterton was a lovely place to base ourselves, very quiet, but with a stunning beach and dunes, completely dog friendly, within walking distance. Great pub with lovely food within a few minutes stroll, very friendly staff and the food was delicious. We will definitely return.

Booked as a last minute short break over the Easter hols for our family and grandparents came along too. Having two bathrooms was a real plus, and there was ample parking for two cars on the drive. Weather wasn't great but we found lots to do in Yarmouth including ten pin bowling and cinema. The local Fisherman's Return pub is a real find and we can definitely recommend the fish & chips! Thanks for a great stay.

We had a great weekend at Bulmer Cottage with our two dogs - really enjoyed being walking distance from the beach, local pub and everything else in the village. There really was no need to use the car after we'd arrived and unpacked. Fantastic decor. The owners have obviously put a lot of thought into the cottage. Will be back!

Bulmer cottage is a beautiful space with eclectic and interesting decor. We loved all the details of the cottage and the sympathetic way it had been extended leaving the original walls. It had everything we needed for our stay - the kitchen was extremely well equipped and it was clean and well kept. The beds were the most comfortable I have found in a holiday cottage ever! It was in a great position in the village and surrounding area with a sunny courtyard and parking at the front. Wish I could live in it really! Would love to return in the future and highly recommend.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house is beautiful, and well equipped with everything you need. Situated within short walking distance of some amazing walks on the Dunes and Beach - our dogs were living their best lives! A truly wonderful stay.

Thank you so much for a beautiful and comfortable stay at your cottage. We loved all the fun and quirky decor whilst still being very comfortable. A very well thought out property with plenty of room for 5 adults and a child. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms add a real touch of luxury. The outside court yard was a very welcome outside space to enjoy a cuppa in the sun. The weather was very kind to us so we had a lovely relaxing break. Can't wait to return!

This cottage is simply gorgeous! There are so many features inside that make it beautiful. The attention to detail is amazing, decor, furniture, colours, plentiful ambient lighting, ample parking for 2-3 cars, within walking distance for everything. Then welcome pack is such a well received gift…..I will definitely be back.

Such a beautiful cottage to spend time at! It has everything needed for a comfortable, relaxing stay. Very cleverly refurbished whilst maintaining a ‘cottage’ feel. Local shop, chip shop, cafe with amazing breakfasts, pub and the beach are all within walking distance. There is also a small sunny courtyard! We loved our stay and would recommend highly!!

A comfortable and stylish cottage. Lovely sunny courtyard too. The cottage is in a great location - a short walk to the village shop, pub and fish and chip shop and to the dunes and beach. Close to the Norfolk Broads - perfect for a boat trip from Martham. We hope to be back.

This is a gorgeous cottage with beautiful design features and thoughtful welcoming touches. It was comfortable, spacious and well-equipped with a lovely outdoor space too. Only minutes from the beach the pub and village shops. Highly recommended!

A lovely comfortable and clean house. We all loved Winterton with the sandy beach a short walk away, with sightings of seals in the water. Lots of local amenities, where everyone was very friendly. We hope to return in the near future.

Bulmer Cottage is comfortable and stylish with plenty of room for the family to relax. We especially like the bright and cheerful entrance hall which is a pleasure to return to after a day out and about, and chilling in the courtyard garden in the evening. Winterton-on-Sea has everything required for a happy holiday; a great fish and chip shop, a general store, post office and tea rooms and a pub - perfect! The beautiful beach is an easy stroll away and the dunes and seals bobbing about in the water are an added attraction. We loved our stay and hope to be back soon.
