  • Just back from a lovely stay in this cottage....comfortable and clean with everything you need and with the most wonderful view of the sea from the back garden..the area is great for dog walking and the beach is wonderful....and winterton is a very pretty village...the only small things that would have enhanced it for us would be a barbecue in the garden and a hose attached to the outside tap for rinsing sand and sea off the dog...and if the steps were repaired/replaced so the valley was accessible from the garden it would make it perfect...overall though, a great place to spend a relaxing week by the sea.....

Winterton Cottages response: Thank you for staying at Bonnets and for a lovely review. Unfortunately we don't have any plans to open up the existing steps for safety reasons, but we'll look at a hose for the outside tap - thank you for the feedback!

  • Lovely week spent at Bonnets.. Very cosy bungalow.. Great secluded garden even for two mini Dachshunds. They could not have escaped.. Lovely views. Great weather too.. Only negative the climb to the beach is a bit too much for us Senior Citizens...but Winterton is Lovely...

Winterton Cottages response: Thank you for your lovely review and pleased the dogs were safe in the garden. As an alternative to the steps leading down into the valley you can walk down to the beach through the village which is an easier and gentler walk.

  • Amazing views and a perfect place to stay. Lovely and clean with everything you could want from an egg timer to board games! Perfect enclosed garden for the dog but after some rain the cream carpet in the conservatory looked to be an issue for wet paws. We did however have a dust sheet that we put down throughout our stay. Would definitely book again and would highly recommend.
